CNB, paiN and Keyd Change Their Rosters

Today was a busy day for the Brazilian scene. Some of the teams that were at the Brazilian Regional decided to utilize the time without big tournaments and change their roster.

CNB e-Sports Club

CNB

Kalec, Leko, manajj, takeshi, Revolta and Alocs

CNB decided to release Whesley “Leko” Holler, Gabriel “Revolta” Henud and Murilo “Takeshi” Alves.

During this year and half, me, Alocs, Leko and mana, mainly, we went through for a lot of stuff together, between defeats and victories. Always in defeat, we had strength to rebuild ourselves. But, this time, I don’t feel this is I what I want. I want to god to different places and learn with this new experience. I’m thankful to Cleber and Júnior (directors of CNB) for their trust that they put in me. I wanna make clear that this time that I spent with these guys was one of the best times of my life. I cheer for Leko, manajj, Alocs and Kalec. I hope everything goes well from now on“, said Takeshi.

Revolta also commented about he leaving: “I received a proposal to join another team and, with the problems that the team had, I decided to listen myself deeply and think about joining another team with Takeshi. I wanna say thanks to CNB for this opportunity of playing along with extraordinary people and for accepting me so well, as well as for the fans, that received me super well“.

For last, Leko also said about he quitting the team: “I’m leaving searching for new opportunities. I wanna challenge myself. I trailed a history of overcoming with CNB. I’m proud of everything I did, and this wasn’t alone. I had help from my teammates and organization. I feel pride to talk about each one. But the time has come that I wish to do some changes. I just wanna say thanks to everyone. I’ll write something more in a more opportunely hour.”

Takeshi and Leko were in the team since April from 2013, when the team got roster from Nex Impetus. Revolta was in the team since February from this year. With this team, CNB won the Desafio Internacional de São Paulo in October from last year, three editions of Torneio dos Legends, besides the second place in BLG Arena #1 and #2, Selecter Cup and CBLoL 2013 and 2014.

Keyd Stars

KST

Loop, Revolta, takeshi, brTT and Mylon.

Keyd decided to release Park “Winged” Tae-jin and An “SuNo” Sun-ho, both Koreans in their team. To replace them, the team hired Takeshi and Revolta.

The organization said that them and SuNo and Winged decided to rescind their contracts, for different reasons coming from both sides. Takeshi and Revolta, that leaved CNB, are already in the Gaming House and you can see them getting there in this video.

paiN Gaming

PNG

owN: “thank you”. Leko: “welcome”

Following all the roster changes, paiN Gaming decided to pick up Leko and release Marcelo “owN” Shiwa.

The team was feeling that the communication in the bot lane, formed by owN and Kim “Olleh” Joo-sung, wasn’t good enough, since one is from Brazil and the other is from South Korea.  The solution to this was to release their AD, move Lactea from top to AD, his old role, and hire Leko to be the new top laner.

Lactea and Olleh, together with Shadow and ReSEt, from Team 58ers, are the only Koreans remaining in the BR competitive scene.

CBLoL – Keyd Punished

Mylon

Matheys “Mylon” Borges

The team Keyd Stars was punished yesterday (Jun 8th) because of a bad gesture made by their top laner Matheus “Mylon” Borges.

During their second game in the finals against paiN Gaming, Mylon won a 1v1 against Lactea, top laner of PNG, and screamed and gave the middle finger right in the camera, as you can see here. The case even got to the front page of /r/leagueoflegends.

Riot Games decided to punish him and his team because of his action. Keyd Stars will lose one ban in their next two matches in an official tournament made by Riot. This means that they’ll only be able to ban two champions in their quarter-final games at the Brazilian Regional and in their next game, in the Regional or not. See the official statement made by Riot Bagaço, Player Engagement Senior Manager, at Reddit:

During the Brazilian League finals, the player Mylon had attitudes that went against the tournament regulation: he performed an obscene gesture to the camera and, in a second moment, said offensive terms.

Based on tournament rules, our regulatory council decided: 1 – Perform verbal warning (as 10.5.1 item); 2 – Loss of one ban per match, in their next two series in official Riot competitions (as 10.5.3).

That means that Keyd will have one less ban in each of their matches during the Bo3 quarter-finals for the Brazilian Regionals (July 18, 19 and 20, 2014). The same will apply for the team’s next series, be it during Regionals Bo3 semifinals (if they qualify) or Riot’s next official tournament.

We don’t accept improper behavior in the competitive scene or in any other instance where League of Legends is played. This kind of attitude will always be thouroughly reviewed and punished accordingly.

In case of repetition of the same behavior in the competitive scene, more severe actions will be taken.

Mylon asked for apologize and said that “acts like that can only prejudice the game environment“. See what he said on his fan page at Facebook:

Today during one of the final games of the Série dos Campeões, in a certain moment of the game, I did a gesture that is at least despicable and I’m really sorry for having done that. “Solo killing your enemy” and shouting trashy things are behaviors that I’ve always condemned and seeing myself behaving like that for pure emotion absolutely disappointed myself.

I apologize to my coworkers, especially Lactea, and to the League of Legends community as a whole. Acts like that can only prejudice the game environment, giving an example of a player that no one wants to deal with in their games.

Thanks a lot for all of those who support me, I promise I won’t repeat such disrespectful behavior, and once more I apologize.

Props to him for acknowledging his mistakes.

The Regional Playoffs will start next month, July 18th, 19th and 20th, in São Paulo with the Finals happening July 26th in Rio de Janeiro.

Regional Qualifiers

Regional CBLoL

This sunday (01/06) we had the Regional Qualifiers. Eight teams fought for four spots at the Brazilian Regional.

Six of the eight teams were qualified on Saturday, the other two were Out of Position (OP) and Team AWP (AWP), both eliminated from CBLoL. The teams were: Raise Your Limits (RYL), Sexy Sem Ser Vulgar (SSV), Kaov (KOV), DYNA5TY (DN5), Team 58ers (T58) and 7 Belo (7B).

The qualified teams join Keyd Stars, CNB e-Sports, paiN Gaming and KaBuM! e-Sports, all of them qualified at CBLoL, for a chance to win the Brazilian Regional. The Regional will start July 18th to 20th, in São Paulo, and will finish July 26th, in Rio de Janeiro. The winner will get a chance to play at International Wildcard, the tournament that give the new regions a spot at the World Championship.

Ex-Team United reforms as Out of Position

Team United

Team United, last position, of CBLoL, decided to say goodbye to them League of Legends team. The managers of the organization didn’t like the results of their campaign at the Circuito Brasileiro de League of Legends (CBLoL).

Team United played really well in the first days, where they tied against KaBuM! e-Sports and got a win over paiN Gaming, but then they weren’t able to keep their good performance on the online matches.

Thiago “Djokovic” Maia, coach of the team, said that they got good results on the first games because they did a bootcamp with excellent results, but the organization wasn’t able to provide them a gaming house. The organization also had problems to get a sponsor.

Guilher Stolf, one of the directors of Team United, said that they could only provide a gaming house in august, even because two players wouldn’t be able to move to the house because of their studies. He said that “unfortunately we didn’t attended their expectations and vice versa. They boys deserve much success and we hope they can reach it as soon as possible“.

The team still together and they reformed as Out of Position (OP) while they don’t get hired from another organization. The team played, and qualified, this weekend in the Regional Finals.
